Donate Your Books
We are always looking for new and gently used books to add to our collection. If you have books that you no longer need or want, please consider donating them to us. We encourage you to gather books from your friends, neighbors, and work associates, to help us build a diverse and inclusive collection that represents a wide range of interests and perspectives.
The types of books that fly off our shelves include current fiction and non-fiction, history, young adult, children's books, classics, books in a set or series, books on sports and special interests, art and gallery books, and books that have historical value.

Please note, we do not accept encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, textbooks, or books in poor condition.
Please consider the condition of the books you have ready for donation:
Like New: Undamaged cover, all pages intact, no marginalia or underlining/highlighting of text, and no damage to binding.
Very Good: in great condition for a used book that has been read, but has no easily noticeable damage to the cover, pages are present and undamaged (may include an inscription), minimal wear and tear.
We are not able to resell books that are damaged, worn, or have missing pages or covers. Books that have been stored in basements often have been damaged due to moisture and are not sellable.
You can drop off your books during our hours of operation. Just drop us a note, and we will be happy to work with you to make the donation process as easy as possible.
We accept donations of new and used books only on Sundays and Mondays while we are open. We also recruit individuals and organizations to run book drives for ReRead Books. If you’d like to schedule a donation outside of our scheduled drop off days, run a book drive, or have a different question, please email hope@reread-books.org
Thank you for considering donating to us!
