Cheshire Town Players presents: Salem — A Staged Reading & Concert
October 29 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Cheshire’s community theater group, fresh off the heels of their summer production of Twelfth Night in the park, is putting on a low-tech rehearsed reading of an original musical by Cheshire local Jane Bates! Come to The Reading Room on Thursday, October 29 to watch a talented group of local actors bring the story of the 1692 Salem witch trials to life, including live performances of several songs! Bates uses trial transcripts and historical documents to retell this dark period of American history from a different perspective. Join us in supporting this work in progress and the continued revival of community theater in Cheshire by getting your tickets at this link ($10 each)! The show will start at 7 PM; doors open at 6:30.
