Book Signing: Jean Ruggiero and Kelly Ranalli

Join us at noon on Saturday, August 9 at ReRead Books in Cheshire for an inspiring community event that celebrates the healing power of animals, creativity, and connection. This special gathering will feature local authors Jean Ruggiero and Kelly Ranalli, along with the magnificent Nick, an incredible young boy with autism, and Boo Boo, a beloved therapy dog who’s making a difference—one paw print at a time.

This event will include:

        • A live reading of two heartfelt children’s books

        • An interactive art project led by Nick and Boo Boo

        • A book signing by Jean, Kelly, and Nick

        • And a one-of-a-kind “pawtograph” from Boo Boo himself!

Both featured books explore the profound impact dogs can have on emotional well-being—whether supporting individuals through grief, trauma, or navigating the world with autism. Together, this team of authors and advocates aims to raise awareness about the therapeutic role of animals and the importance of empathy and inclusion in our communities.
